With more than 94,000 employees, we operate a network of more than 2,600 offices and laboratories around the world.SGS is a highly successful NZ and global business that has been well known in the marketplace since the launch in 1976.Job DescriptionOur New Plymouth facility is looking for an experienced Phased Array Inspector to join our talented NDT & Materials Engineering team.Our client base is extensive, and we operate in all major industrial groups from dairy, power generation, oil and gas, chemical, pulp and paper process plants through to constructions, building and light engineering.Reporting to the Operational Manager, the primary responsibility of the Inspector's role is to carry out PAUT, general NDT and welding inspections in accordance with relevant codes and standards to ensure our client requirements are met. This can be testing on a variety of products and components covering metals, plastics, construction, and building materials.
