We are looking for a dedicated full-time Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Slade Pharmacy, Mount Kuring-Gai.
This unique office-based role combines aspects of Pharmacy Administration with Dispensary Services – Offering a rare opportunity for candidates with administrative or clerical experience to advance into a specialised technical pharmacy career.

About the Role
As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play an important role in providing remote pharmacy services for public hospital outpatient clinics across New South Wales.
You will be supporting both large metropolitan hospitals and outreach clinics in regional and rural areas, ensuring patients receive timely and accurate access to critical medications.
The role requires a strong focus on administrative tasks, demanding attention to detail and the ability to maintain concentration for extended periods.
Given the collaborative nature of the position, your excellent communication skills will be key in liaising with medical professionals both within our company and at customer clinics.
While primarily office-based, occasional travel to customer clinics using the pharmacy vehicle may be required.
Key Responsibilities Receive, dispense and supply medications for hospital patients and outpatients.Management of and dispensing prescriptions for allocated hospitals and clinics.PBS prescription processing under the supervision of pharmacist.Liaising with health professionals when required.Support the patient account process and dealing with account enquiries and payments.Provide support to Pharmacists.Generate delivery dockets and reports.Assemble orders for dispatch to clinics.Perform data entry.Assist the Procurement Officer with stock control and maintenance.Participate in regular stock-taking activities.Assist the Customer Relations Officer in triaging phone calls and emails.Shift Details
Monday to Friday: 10:00AM - 06:00PM
About You
We invite applications from experienced Pharmacy Technicians as well as candidates with clerical backgrounds seeking a transition into pharmacy services.

While experience as a Pharmacy Technician in a hospital or community setting is highly regarded, it is not essential.
Candidates with backgrounds in medical reception, general reception, or administration are strongly encouraged to apply.Eligibility Requirements Australian working rights.Commitment to full-time employment.High proficiency in the Office 365 Suite.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Valid Australian Driver's License.Preferred Requirements Pharmacy Dispensary experience in an Australian-based Pharmacy OR experience in an Office Administrative/Clerical role.Dispensary Technician Certificate or equivalent as recognised by the Pharmacy Board of Australia.About Us
