In this role you will have the opportunity to take ownership of your defined territory and customer base and make your own results. You will be tasked with business development and territory planning that deliver outcomes above expectations.You will be supported with ongoing education on all aspects of Woundcare, selling skills and materials to enable you to succeed. The role will involve developing commercial and clinical relationships with multiple key customers in your stores including Pharmacists, Retail Managers and Pharmacy assistants. A key component of this role is facilitating education and some of this will occur outside of regular business hours.For the right candidate this role can lead to career development paths to Key Account Management, Marketing, Field Coaching or appointment to one of other selling channels in Community or Hospital.What will you be doing?Maintain and develop sales within a designated territory covering the NSW North region.Target customers for new business development.Provide in-service programs, workshops and seminars.Attend conference / trade displays / meetings relevant to business development.Work effectively in conjunction with other S&N staff where overlap of territory responsibilities exists.Keep up to date with competitor products and competitor activity.Consult Marketing / Regulatory Affairs Department on field promotional materials.Review sales data monthly, or as required, to actively performance manage key products and key accounts.What will you need to be successful?Tertiary qualifications in Science or Business relevant disciplines ideal, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.At least 3-5 years of selling experience in a similar role with Pharmacy products and/or in the Pharmacy Channel.Proven success track record selling within the pharmacy channel.Strong selling skills and understanding of the selling process.Strong understanding of the healthcare industry in ANZ.Working knowledge of wound care or related area desirable.Highly focused on exceeding customer expectations.Good planning and execution skills.Attention to detail and committed to excellence.Superior presentation and public speaking skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.To apply, please ensure that you include a cover letter addressing it to Talent Acquisition Lead ANZ.
