Pharmacist Scope of Practice Coordinator The Pharmacy Guild of Australia (NT Branch) is seeking a dedicated Pharmacist to join our Darwin team as a Scope of Practice Coordinator on a 12-month contract with the potential for extension. This part-time role (15 hours per week) offers an exciting opportunity to advance community pharmacy practice by supporting the implementation of the Northern Territory Community Pharmacy Scope of Practice Program. You'll work closely with pharmacists, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies to expand the role of community pharmacies in healthcare delivery.
This role offers flexibility in work location (office & WFH) and negotiable days/hours, and could suit a pharmacist returning to the workforce, seeking a career change, or looking to apply their pharmacy degree in a new and impactful way.
Job Description Key Responsibilities: Analyse, optimise, and support the Community Pharmacy Scope of Practice Program Develop and activate stakeholder engagement plans Monitor program progress and provide comprehensive reporting Coordinate education and training for participating pharmacists Develop resources to support pharmacies in providing program services Provide clinical advice on scope of practice matters Represent the Guild in discussions with government agencies and stakeholders Prepare plain English explanations of complex regulatory requirements Qualifications and Skills: General registration as a pharmacist with the Pharmacy Board of Australia (Essential) Recent experience working in an Australian Community Pharmacy setting (Essential) Current unrestricted driver's license (Essential) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Knowledge of the regulatory system for pharmacists High-level written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in Office 365 applications What We Offer: Flexible working arrangements: We aim to accommodate your lifestyle and commitments.
