About the Role We have an exciting opportunity for a pharmacy professional who is interested in working as a Pharmacy Clinical Systems and Quality administrator within our Quality and Medication Safety Unit (QMSU) team. This position is integral to the function of the QMSU and supports the Head of Quality and Medication Safety, as well as the rest of the team. This role also oversees the administration of clinical systems such as Riskman, GS1 and the pharmacy SharePoint.
While the QMSU office is based at The Wesley Hospital in Auchenflower, Brisbane, we offer unparalleled flexibility. You can choose to work from The Wesley Hospital, one of our other pharmacy locations, or entirely remotely.
This is a unique opportunity to broaden your skill set and gain valuable insight into the critical work of the Quality and Medication Safety Unit in supporting our pharmacy teams across the Icon Group.
Key Responsibilities Managing incoming and outgoing communication through the QMSU inbox.Secretariat for QSMU meetings (including agendas, minutes and actions).Reviewing and issuing product notifications (Recalls, Defect Corrections and Alerts) via GS1 in consultation with Procurement and QMSU Quality Pharmacists.Administration functions for GS1 and RiskMan including the creation and deactivation of accounts, system alerts and reporting.Deliver systems training for RiskMan, GS1, SharePoint and Chemwatch.Analyse data and prepare monthly Pharmacy Quality Reports for state managers.Create, manage and analyse results/create reports and presentations for key surveys including customer survey and hospital partner survey.Retrieve, analyse and present data for Quality audits.Management of pharmacy SharePoint page.Assist QMSU team with communication formatting and distribution.Controlled document management (policies/procedures/guidelines) including:Coordinating schedule of documents due for review.Formatting and loading documents to SharePoint.Preparing document change notifications.Participating in document reviews.Project support for key quality initiatives.General administrative tasks to support QMSU Portfolios. About You This position will be ideal for experienced Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians who are passionate about Quality and Medication Safety. To be considered for this position, you will need to possess:
A background in pharmacy either as a Pharmacist or Pharmacy Technician.Good understanding of pharmacy systems, legislation, and quality use of medicines.Be an adaptable individual who can work effectively in diverse teams and autonomously.Be driven by the desire to have a positive impact on another person's life.Effective time management, communication, and teamwork skills.Embrace change and commit to learning.Have a good knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.Attention to detail and customer service skills.Systems administration experience is desirable but not essential.
