As a Pharmacy Assistant – Packing and Stock Controller, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth operations within the pharmacy by managing stock, organizing inventory, and supporting the accurate packing of prescriptions and other items.
You will need:
A good eye for detail
Be reliable & punctual
Full Australian working rights (citizenship, residency, or valid working visa).
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Basic computer skills for inventory management and record-keeping.
A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, or warehouse setting.
Some of your responsibilities and duties will include:
Accurately pack prescriptions and prepare medication orders for patients and healthcare providers.
Monitor stock levels to ensure timely ordering and replenishment of inventory.
Unpack, check, and shelve incoming stock deliveries.
Perform regular stock takes and maintain accurate inventory records.
Ensure storage areas meet safety, hygiene, and compliance standards.
Assist with general housekeeping to keep the pharmacy organized and efficient.
Support the pharmacy team with additional tasks as required.
