Lismore Base Hospital is seeking a Senior Pharmacist to join the team, providing a comprehensive clinical and pharmaceutical service in the designated speciality areas in the pharmacy department. You will undertake responsibility for the operational oversight of pharmacy services in the general surgical wards, outpatient clinics, and outpatient group education.
You will be working in a multidisciplinary team, assisting in the training of pharmacy staff, reviewing and developing protocols and policies, ensuring that legislative requirements are followed, and focusing on high quality and safe medication management. You will also work closely with other senior roles to support the Director of Pharmacy to ensure the provision of safe and cost-effective medication management, focusing on patient-centered care to ensure optimal health outcomes.
Managerial, clinical, and dispensary pharmacy duties are included as part of the responsibilities.
