Fixed Term Temporary full-time, up to 14.03.2027 (2 positions available) Participate in a structured experiential learning program that provides professional development whilst delivering professional, client-focused pharmacy services and leadership within an evidence-based, quality and multidisciplinary health care environment.
Generous remuneration package value up to $132,567 p.a. comprising:
Salary range of $79,051 to $116,189 p.a. (HP3)Annual leave with 17.5% loading12.75% employer contribution to superannuation.Other employment benefits may include: professional development, salary sacrificing options, shift and locality allowances, employee wellness and assistance programs, and access to corporate discounts.
The Ideal applicant will be someone who has proven ability and can demonstrate the following: A competent level of knowledge, expertise, and skills in contemporary, evidence-based public-hospital pharmacy services and ability to apply this knowledge in at Townsville University Hospital.An ability to work collaboratively with and actively participate in a multi-disciplinary team and to implement the APAC Continuum of Care guidelines in a team environment, to provide quality services, support research activity and promote a model of best practice for the benefit of patients and staff.Communication, time management and interpersonal skills evidenced through effective consultation, advice provision and assistance to professional peers and other staff in relation to pharmacy services, effective work practice within a multi-disciplinary health care team.A demonstrated interest in undertaking postgraduate professional development activities, quality improvement and research activities to support better health service provision to patients in collaboration with the pharmacy and multidisciplinary colleges.An ability to provide leadership to multidisciplinary staff ensuring that the needs of the pharmacy clients are met in the most efficient, economical & ethical manner.Understanding and ability to support THHS strategic values, purpose and vision.Requirements: Bachelor of Pharmacy Degree from a recognised tertiary institution with current AHPRA registration.Enrolment in the SHPA Residency Program within 2 months of commencing Residency.Ability to work across 7-days (Monday to Sunday) as part of a normal roster, providing pharmacy services to designated work units.This is a Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD) risk role: Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, and Pertussis.Probation period may apply.Pre-employment checks will be conducted.For additional information regarding the responsibilities and/or other requirements for this position please refer to the role description.
