The Pharmacy Department delivers professional, client-focused pharmacy services and leadership within an evidence-based quality care environment.This role will also promote safe, effective and efficient use of medicines in keeping with the department's goals, objectives and mission statement of the WBHHS.As a member of the Pharmacy team, this role will be required to work at Maryborough and Hervey Bay Hospitals and may be required to attend the Maryborough Correctional Facility.
The position is required to actively participate in the Pharmacy Department rotational roster system including 24-hour emergency clinical on-call, public holiday and weekend roster.What we're looking for:Clinical: Demonstrated clinical knowledge and skill and ability to apply established principles to clinical care, under the supervision of more senior practitioners (commensurate with experience and level of skill development).Communication: Ability to work effectively and contribute positively in a health care team.
Use of enhanced communication and interpersonal skills to deliver quality pharmaceutical care.Leadership: Demonstrated ability, or ability to rapidly acquire the skill, to supervise less experienced clinicians, educate students and provide guidance to support staff.Values: Demonstrates the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service values in clinical and professional practice through lived experiences.Preferred Qualifications:Mandatory possession of a qualification from a registered tertiary institution as a Pharmacist and Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency with a current annual practicing certificate is essential.Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and if applicable registration or membership with the appropriate registration authority or association.

(f/t) or salary between $39.87 - $58.60 p.h.
(p/t), p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP3) (Several Permanent Full Time, 76 hours p.f.
and Permanent Part Time Positions, hours negotiable).
