Key duties will include but not limited to:Receiving prescriptions, checking patients' medication histories, and ensuring optimal dosage and methods of administration and drug compatibility before dispensing.Checking prescriptions prepared by dispense technicians.Counsel patients with the optimal and safe use of medicationWhen necessary preparing and if required supervising the preparation and labelling of liquid medicines, ointments, powders, tablets and other medications for compounded prescriptionsAssist in advising prescribers on drug incompatibility and contra-indicationsReviewing and monitoring the medicine therapy of individual patients, and assessing the effectiveness of the total medicine therapyMaintaining prescription files and recording issue of narcotics, poisons and habit-forming drugsStoring and preserving vaccines, serums and other drugs subject to deteriorationSupplying non-prescription medicines, and diagnostic and therapeutic aids to patients andcustomers .Assist with customer service queriesMaintain all dispensary stock needs through detailed orderingCompliance with allState and Federal pharmacy guidelines whilst providing leadership within the pharmacyPlacing orders for dispensary stock using the dispense softwareKey Requirements:AHPRA registrationAmazing customer service and people management skillsEagerness to be part of our pharmacy familyExcellent interpersonal and organisational skillsEye for detail and a level of accuracy suitable for the health industryStrong coaching and leadership skillsAbility to work well in a team and autonomouslyAn enthusiastic attitude and willingness to learn and grow with the pharmacyStrong and dedicated work ethicThe desire to go above and beyondSalary range is $70,000 - $75,000 dependent on experience.SuperChem Busselton Pharmacy is located in the beautiful South West of Western Australia and is part of the SuperChem Pharmacy group.
