Territory Pharmacy Services – Alice Springs NTWe are seeking a passionate, enthusiastic and customer-focused Pharmacist to join our pharmacy team in Alice Springs.This full-time position involves dispensing, counselling and the provision of dose administration aids to clients of the health service. The pharmacist also acts as a consultant to medical, nursing and allied health staff.Some roles and responsibilities may include (but are not limited to):Counsel customers on their medical conditions and medications, both prescription and OTC, with the most up to date, evidence-based informationExecute health services to the highest professional standardBuild and maintain relationships with local health professionalsSupervise, direct and coach pharmacy assistants and intern pharmacistPharmaprograms and 8CPA claimingImplement and follow QCPP policy and procedure to the highest standardRequirements:A sensitive and culturally safe ability to interact with Aboriginal peopleAn ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary health care teamExceptional communication skills with customers and colleaguesOpportunity to work in remote communitiesSubstantial Financial Relocation assistance up to $10,000 from NTPHNAccommodation allowance or accommodation providedVehicle and fuel providedAboriginal & Torres Strait Islander people are encouraged to apply.Only successful applicants will be contacted.
