The Role An opportunity has become available for a Pharmacist – Advanced (Informatics and Business Practice Improvement) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 12 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.You will Contribute to good clinical practice by participating in and leading the provision of clinical pharmacy servicesContribute to the strategic planning of and advocacy for pharmacy servicesIndependently lead reviews within pharmacy to assist with process redesign and refinementWork collaboratively with the Pharmacy Lead – Clinical Informatics position to lead service evaluation and quality improvement About you To be successful in this position you will require: Possession of a tertiary degree in Pharmacy from a recognised tertiary institutionAHPRA RegistrationEvidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis BTuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be requiredDeclaration of serious discipline history must be disclosedCriminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost) Benefits Flexible work optionsCareer DevelopmentSalary PackagingModern FacilitiesDiverse Work CultureResearch Opportunities12.75% super17.5% leave loading Salary Temporary full time (12 months with the possibility of extension)Base salary ranging from $140 767 - $146 883 per annum About Us The Pharmacy Service provides medication management services across the GCHHS, 7 days a week.
