A day in the life at Petstock Bunbury…
Lead and operate a profitable grooming salon Lead by example & coach your team to achieve and develop skills further Work with the Store Manager to recruit, onboard and induct high calibre new grooming Team Members Provide full grooming services to a range of breeds - bathing, drying, nail clipping, brushing, combing, generic & breed clipping Provide a positive and memorable grooming experience for all customers and their dogs Coordinate the grooming salon and clients in conjunction with the Store Manager Make client bookings Assist store shop floor team when required Stock management Work with Store Manager & team to ensure member program targets and expectations are met Proactively support local marketing opportunities and recruitment referral programs Work with the team to achieve and exceed sales targets Maintain a strong safety mindset with commitment to create a culture of safety within your team
What We Need…
Experience in a similar role or a senior Groomer ready to take that leadership step in their career Advanced knowledge of specific breed clips Strong leadership skills with ability to motivate & lead their team to reach store, team, and individual goals Ability to create and embed strong safety practices across the salon & store Demonstrated success in building sales and achieving sales/customer targets Solid business & financial acumen Demonstrated experience in handling and working with live animals Physically fit, as you may be required to lift heavy animals Ability to be flexible in order to meet changing work conditions Ability to prioritise and manage conflicting priorities A commitment to represent the interests of Petstock in areas related to the business, branding and animal care Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build strong working and customer relationships Exceptional verbal & written communication skills Strong attention to detail skills
