Pet Groomer

Salon 154 @ Bulimba Vet Surgery is looking for an experienced pet stylist to join our team. We are offering a permanent part-time / casual position.
The successful candidate will be passionate and eager to deliver a superior and caring experience to our patients and their owners.
What we are looking for: 1 year+ experience as a pet groomerHigh-quality grooming including bathing, blow drying, clipping, scissoring, ear cleaning & nailsMaintaining safe animal handling at all times and treating all pets with patienceProficiency in using attachment combsExperience with Teddy Bear haircutsFamiliarity with breed-specific trims such as Schnauzer, Bichon, Westie, and Poodle lamb trimsComfortable working with dogs with behavioural issuesComfortable grooming large-breed dogsGood communication skillsIndependent, enthusiastic and a passion for working with pets and their ownersAttention to detail and takes pride in your workCleaning and maintenance of grooming room and equipment What we can offer you: A great client base with stability with grooming all year round (guaranteed hours during winter).Discounted Veterinary services for your fur-babiesProfit share bonus after 6 months on a permanent contractWe will provide you with a fully equipped salon, including a Savel hydrobath, hydraulic lift table, Pupkus force 4 dryer, Heiniger clipper, all blades & attachments, all brushes/combs/deshedding equipment (just bring your own scissors!), and shampoos/conditioners of your choosing.
