DescriptionAbout Right at Home Southwest Victoria Right at Home Southwest Victoria is a Local Home care provider in Southwest Victoria, and are also well established in Australia. Right at Home Southwest Victoria strive to provide high quality in-home care services and assistance to our valued clients in the Southern area of Victoria. We support people living with Alzheimer's, dementia and cognitive decline, disabilities, post-operative care needs and older Australians. Our services help clients remain safe and independent in their own homes. Our mission to improve the quality of life for those we serve.
About the role We currently have positions available for qualified, reliable and passionate Personal Care Workers/Enrolled Nurses to join our team in Warrnambool, Colac and surrounding areas. It is preferred however not essential that you are an experience in the Aged Care sector. You will need to be friendly, positive and demonstrate client-focused behaviour, showing empathy and treating others with dignity and respect. You will also need to have a natural ability to build relationships that make a difference, be honest, helpful and dependable, making you a great asset to our team.
Responsibilities will include: Working within a person-centred, enabling environment that respects the rights and needs of each clientAssisting clients with personal hygiene, dressing and domestic dutiesAssisting clients with daily errands, companionship and supportProviding support with academic, social or recreational activitiesPreparing food, feeding clients and administering medicationsObserve, care and report any changes in the health and wellbeing of the clientResponding to emergency situationsTravelMinimum Certificate III in Individual Care or equivalentNDIS ScreeningGood verbal and written communication skillsWillingness to learn, develop and take on new challengesCurrent or willingness to gain a National Police CheckCurrent First Aid & CPR certificatesWorking with Children Certificate (Not Mandatory)QualificationsMinimum of Cert III in Aged Care or equivalent
