This role is a casual position with the opportunity to progress to Permanent Part-time hours. Preferred availability ranges from 12:00pm to 7:30pm, Monday to Friday services and Alternating weekends are available.
We support people living with Alzheimer's, dementia and cognitive decline, disabilities, post-operative care needs, and older Australians. Our services include aged and disability care, transitional care, hospital in the home, and palliative care.
We are currently seeking experienced Personal Care Workers who are enthusiastic and passionate about providing a caring, compassionate, respectful, and high-quality service. Our priority is to help our clients live empowered and independently at home.
ResponsibilitiesAs typical in the role of in-home aged care support, you will be assisting with:
Personal careDomestic assistanceTransportationMedication remindersOther activities of daily livingA Personal Care Worker provides support to their clients with daily activities, personal care and hygiene, social outings, appointments, transport, and for the maintenance of a safe and clean environment by performing general light cleaning duties throughout client's homes including, yet not limited to the cleaning of client rooms and bathrooms, vacuuming, meal preparation, and companionship activities for clients in their home environment, improving the quality of life for the client and assisting them to maintain their independence at home.
QualificationsCertificate III in Aged Care and/or Individual care is requiredSatisfactory Australian National Police checkCurrent first aid and CPR certificateDriver's licence and their own car (full comprehensive insurance)Preferred SkillsA successful candidate will have the following:
