Due to growth at out Box Hill site, we currently have the following Permanent Part Time shifts on offer:
AM Shift: Sunday, Monday & Tuesday: 07:00am to 15:00pm (Week 1 and Week 2) Thursday, Friday (Week 1) and Thursday, Friday & Saturday: 07:00am to 15:00pm PM Shift: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday: 14:45pm to 22:00pm (Week 1 and Week 2) Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday: 14:45pm to 22:00pm (Week 1 and Week 2) At Uniting AgeWell, Personal Care Workers co-ordinate personal care for residents in accordance with care plans which meet their individual needs and preferences. Working within a multidisciplinary team, provide effective clinical and emotional support to residents, recognise changes in residents' conditions and escalate observations and concerns.
Deliver high quality, person centered care to residents and families, including consideration for cultural, spiritual and individual needs Provide personal care to residents with complex needs such palliative care, dementia support, restorative care and pain management to enhance their wellbeing Support nursing staff regarding assessment, care planning processes, documentation and evaluation of care outcomes Monitor the cleanliness, safety, environment and promptly report issues of concern About you: This is the place for you if you have:
Certificate III in Individual Support, or equivalent (Aged Care) Experience in residential aged care/ home care (desired) Experience with dementia care and palliative care support (desired) Demonstrated abilities to support residents in a fast paced environment with exemplary communication skills in a team and one on one interactions with all levels of care partners Are committed to being part of a workplace culture based on the BESTway of life (Believe, Excel, Support and Trust) Essentials for working in Aged Care: A current Working With Children Check card Current and ongoing flu vaccinations Australian working rights Ability to pass a national police clearance and NDIS Clearance Make a positive difference in your community – apply now!
