Your new role will be responsible for: Assisting clients with their activities of daily living such as personal hygiene, nutrition, and mobilityFollowing client care plans and actively identifying client care needsCommunicating and collaborating with the clients care team and significant othersFollowing appropriate policies and procedures applicable to clients in their own homePerforming light housekeeping tasks to facilitate client's self-care at homeQualificationsTo be successful in this role you will need: Minimum Certificate III in either Aged Care, Disability Services, Community Service or related experienceCurrent or willing to obtain Australian National Police checkCurrent or willing to obtain a First Aid and CPR certificateFull Australian Driver's licence and own reliable insured carPreferred SkillsSkills: Able to work autonomously and as part of a teamHigh level of time management and organisational abilityWillingness to participate in further education opportunitiesExcellent written and verbal skillsWhat We Offer: Competitive hourly rateExcellent employee benefits program including discount travel, fuel and shoppingOpportunities for further training and developmentA flexible and inclusive environment committed to work life balanceThis role will report to the Care Manager in our office in Erina, Central Coast.
