Kick-Start your Career with Calvary today!About the roleWe are looking for compassionate Personal Care Workers that will provide high quality care to our residents at all times, by delivering care that meets the individual needs and goals of our residents. Reporting to the Home Manager, this is a Casual position with shifts available from across a fortnightly roster.Your main duties will include: Support residents to live the life they choose allowing them to exercise choice and independence.Contribute to the physical, emotional and lifestyle needs and wants of the residents, through assessment and observation.Work within an established and agreed framework to deliver a range of personal care tasks, including but not limited to daily hygiene such as showering, shaving, dressing, mouth and eye care, and continence management.Identify and escalate to supervisor any changes that are noticed with resident's behaviour, cognition or any physical attributes.Report any incident witnessed via the relevant incident reporting procedure and alert any incident to the RN.About youCertificate Level III (Individual Support).Demonstrated experience in a similar role in aged care, health care or hospitality.Effective interpersonal communication; both written and verbal.Working knowledge of WH&S and Infection Control.Demonstrated ability to prioritise workloads.Why work for Calvary?At Calvary, our staff matter.
