We are currently looking for motivated and passionate Personal Care Workers to join our direct care team in the LGA area. This is a community-based position and services will be completed in our customers' homes.
As a Personal Care Worker, you will provide care that enhances our customers' wellbeing and deliver high quality support, maintaining an optimal level of dignity, respect, comfort, and quality of life.
About You: Minimum of Certificate 3 in Aged Care/Individual Support or Home and Community Care or Cert IV Disability, Bach/Dip of Nursing or completed first-year study towards it.Own roadworthy vehicle and valid Australian Drivers Licence (please note, International Drivers Licence is not accepted for this role)Your own smartphone (either Android or Apple)Good verbal and written communication and basic computer skills requiredAt least two doses of the COVID-19 VaccinationsMedication training will be highly regarded (HLTHPS006/CHCCS305C)For you: Work closely with our Delivery Support Leads – their role is to support, coach and mentor our Care Workers to ensure success.Get paid a first aid shift allowanceAccess to Salary Packaging Benefits, which can result in significant tax savings – package up to $15,900 per annum plus $2600 for meals and entertainmentOnline and in-person learning opportunities available – get paid to learnFlexible casual hours or the opportunity to discuss part-time hoursAccess to free counselling services for you and your familyOpportunity to move into different roles throughout the organisationIf you have a true passion for supporting the elderly and ensuring their wellbeing and daily lifestyle needs are met, we would love to hear from you!
