They have a diverse team structure with credit and admin staff in Sri Lanka and Australia, as well as sales and BDR (Business Development Representatives) teams in the Philippines. The company is experiencing growth and is looking to expand its workforce, particularly in sales and support roles. They currently have six BDMs (Business Development Managers) in Sydney and aim to double this number to 12 within the next year. Their business model involves providing loans, with a focus on scaling their sales and support operations to match their growth trajectory.
Job Description: We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Personal Assistant to support both personal and professional tasks. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing household and work-related activities, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
Responsibilities: Household Management:
Schedule and coordinate household tasks, including cleaning services, sourcing tradespeople for home repairs and painting.Source and purchase home items such as water filters, carpets, and other essentials.Work and Personal Scheduling:
Organize and schedule work-related tasks, including booking travel tickets and overseas hotel accommodations.Manage personal and professional calendars, ensuring timely scheduling of appointments, events, and meetings.Email and Communication Management:
Check, categorize, and respond to emails on behalf of Gee, ensuring prompt and professional communication.Assign calls to appropriate team members and manage follow-ups.Event and Experience Coordination:
Source and book restaurants, events, and experiences for both personal and professional purposes.Research and Documentation:
Conduct research on various work-related topics for Gee and Parisa, compiling information into comprehensive reports.Assist with the preparation of presentations, documents, and other materials as needed.Staffing and Recruitment:
Source potential staff members and consultants, place job advertisements, and communicate with candidates throughout the hiring process.Coordinate interviews and manage onboarding processes.RequirementsProven experience as a Personal Assistant or in a similar role.Excellent organizational and time-management skills.Strong verbal and written communication abilities.Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.Discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure.Preferred Qualifications:Experience in household management and administrative tasks.Background in event planning and coordination.Familiarity with sourcing and managing contractors and service providers.Please note that since this is a permanent work-from-home position and an "Independent Contractor" arrangement, the candidates must have their own computer and internet connection.
