The Position:
We are seeking a Personal Assistant to the Principal of Primary School at our Werribee campus. The primary purpose of this role is to provide a high level of professional, practical, and timely support to the Principal in their day-to-day responsibilities. This is a permanent full-time position.
The Person:
The Personal Assistant to the Principal works with discretion, diplomacy, and confidentiality and is the first point of contact for monitoring communications and workflow to and from the Principal's office, coordinating meetings and appointments, document management, and preparation of information and correspondence.
Professional Attributes:
The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Presenting a professional, warm, positive, and welcoming presence while engaging with the wider School community in a manner that reflects the tone and tenor of the office of the Principal.
Organising the Principal's calendar and ensuring that it connects efficiently to the campus's school calendars.
Managing internal and external correspondence from the Principal, whether it be emails or letters, including lodging these on the appropriate internal school systems.
Managing all aspects of travel arrangements involving the Principal and other staff at his request.
Answering queries from students, staff, and parents while maintaining confidentiality on all relevant matters.
Answering phones, screening calls, and directing to the appropriate person or department.

Education and Experience:
To be successful in this position, you will need the following:

Certificate IV preferably in Business / Administration or relevant office administration experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience as a personal assistant.
Solid organisational skills.
Valid WWCC 'E' & Police Check.
