What is unique about you? You are an experienced and polished Personal Assistant who will support a dynamic school Principal. With excellent written and verbal communication skills, you will have a natural confidence and a professional presence to engage seamlessly with staff, students, parents, and key stakeholders. As a trusted confidant to the Principal, you will exhibit high levels of discretion, sound judgment, and the ability to navigate sensitive situations with empathy and tact. Strong interpersonal skills are essential, as the role requires understanding diverse perspectives and building strong working relationships.
This role involves comprehensive diary management, scheduling and coordinating meetings, and balancing multiple competing priorities with flexibility and grace. You are highly organised, able to switch seamlessly between tasks, and make prudent decisions about when and how to escalate issues. As a proactive and adaptable team player you can thrive in a fast-paced environment, anticipate needs, and bring a problem-solving mindset to each day.
A snapshot of your role…. Provide comprehensive administrative support, including managing communications, schedules, meetings, and digital records, while handling sensitive and confidential information with integrity.Coordinate events, functions, and the school calendar, ensuring timely communication and seamless execution for staff development, meetings, and student activities.Serve as the first point of contact for staff, students, parents, and external stakeholders, managing queries, coordinating with key departments, and supporting the Principal with stakeholder relations.Assist with policy, procedure, and work health and safety compliance, maintaining relevant documentation, supporting audits, and liaising with maintenance and facilities as needed.Support the Principal in budget preparation, performance reviews, and special projects, managing reports, expenses, and correspondence to enhance school operations.
