Our Opportunity Permit Officer Work Location:  Christmas Creek Roster:  8D/6R 7N/7R  Role overview: The Permit Coordinator will be responsible for all isolation, tagging and permit requirements for the Process Plant in either a routine daily or shutdown capacity. This position will be imperative to maintaining the safety of people and equipment in and around the plant Key Responsibilities Carry out regular inspections of work areas to ensure correct isolations are in place and are functional Ensure all permits are in place and coherent with the work requirements Design, prepare and implement all permitting and isolation plans for shutdown and daily work Audit all electrical and mechanical isolations to ensure compliance Complete operational churns and facilitate isolation reviews Qualifications and Experience Trade Qualification or similar (Electrical preferable)  Proven experience performing isolations and/or permitting in the Mining Industry Strong attention to detail and good computer skills required Previous experience within a Fixed Plant environment is advantageous Ability to work unsupervised and within a fast-paced team environment Previous experience with Intellipermit (or similar electronic permitting) advantageous Our Commitment Fortescue is deeply committed to providing a safe culture that builds respect, fosters inclusiveness, and values diversity.
