About the Role:
Intura is seeking a Civil & Gathering Permit Holder for Upstream CSG works to join our team in the Chinchilla region. This position involves working across various sites with a focus on upstream gas operations, particularly in support of civil and gathering crews. This is a dynamic role and an excellent opportunity for experienced candidates who are ready to take the lead on site with permits and safety protocols.
You will work hands-on in the Civil & Gathering team and have the ability to permit works.
This is a casual position with an immediate start and paying $77 - $84 p/h.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee and issue work permits, including Permit to Excavate, to ensure compliance and safe execution of tasks. Hazard identification and risk assessment. Ensure safe operation of excavators, cable crawlers, tractors, backhoes, and other heavy machinery across pipeline and trenching. Assist in the safe installation of gas pipelines, including wellhead and separator construction, trenching, and pipeline rehabilitation. Conduct and adhere to safety protocols, including JSAs, JHAs, JSEA's, toolboxes, and risk assessments, ensuring all equipment is safe for use. Ideal Candidate: Permit Holder training would be ideal. Proven experience issuing and managing permits and ensuring site safety in upstream gas or related environments. Strong understanding of pipeline construction and gas gathering infrastructure. HRW Operator Licences. Australian Driving Licence. Hands-on expertise with heavy plant machinery and operations.
