Permanent Position - Process Operator (Evaporator) - Proserpine Mill

About the Role We are currently seeking applications for an  Evaporator Operator based at Proserpine Mill located in the heart of the Whitsundays. This is a permanent position in our sugar processing factory which requires shift work during the crushing season on a rotating roster including weekends, overtime, and day work during the maintenance period.  The  Evaporator Operator  position is responsible for operating the Juice Circuit encompassing Juice Heaters, Clarifiers, Filters, Evaporators, and associated equipment. This position works in conjunction with other members of the Shift Team to ensure efficient factory performance and reports to the Operations Coordinator. The Opportunity  The successful applicant must be able to demonstrate an ability and willingness to: Work effectively within a team environment Work safely and look after the safety of others Communicate effectively Be able to provide regular and accurate feedback to the Operations Coordinator on station performance and quality issues The successful applicant will also be required to undertake further training to complete the appropriate evaporator station and maintenance competencies.
