About the Role We are currently seeking applications for a  Crushing   Assistant  based at Proserpine Mill located in the heart of the Whitsundays. This is a permanent position in our sugar processing factory which requires shift work during the crushing season, including weekends and overtime, and day work during the maintenance period. The Crushing Assistant position is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the milling train including turbines and boiler generators. The role also provides general assistance to shift trades, operators and the Operations Coordinator where required.  The Opportunity While the following qualifications are requirements in this role, we are prepared to provide training to people who possess the right aptitude and team fit:  Turbine High Risk Work Licence (HRWL) Confined Space Working at Heights Desirable Dogger's HRWL Elevated Work Platform HRWL Mobile Crane Non-Slewing Front End Loader Forklift HRWL Bobcat Overhead crane You will need to possess excellent communicate skills to provide regular/accurate feedback on work status.
