We are a family-owned business in the Marine industry, located in Coomera QLD seeking an experienced and highly motivated Bookkeeper / Payroll Officer to join our team.
Seapower Australia is the exclusive importer/distributor for Australia and New Zealand for MAN, Baudouin and Sole Marine engines and parts, supporting a strong dealer network.
We are looking for a motivated bookkeeper to process accounts payable/receivable, payroll, bank/credit card reconciliations and general financial processes.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Processing of accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing and payment processing.
Conduct regular bookkeeping tasks such as database data entry, bank reconciliation for multiple accounts and credit cards, and financial reporting.
Assist with the preparation of financial statements and tax documents.
Provide administrative support as needed.
Fortnightly payroll for 10-15 staff.
Assistance with inventory management and stock control.
Monthly BAS Processing.
Liase with accountant on financial matters as required.

Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Experience in XERO software and DEAR inventory (not essential as training will be provided).
Must have experience in processing Payroll and Bookkeeping.
High level Excel skills to assist with processing, uploads of our database, and reporting.
The position is permanent part time, with a minimum of 24 hours a week over 4-5 days.
