SCHOOL HOURS Permanent Full time or part-time position working 4-5 days per week 9-3pm (negotiable to suit right applicant). Approx 25-35 hours per week We are a family-owned business in the Marine industry, located in Coomera QLD seeking an experienced and highly motivated Bookkeeper / Payroll Officer to join our team.
Seapower Australia is the exclusive importer/distributor for Australia and New Zealand, for MAN, Baudouin and Sole Marine engines and parts, supporting a strong dealer network.
We are looking for a motivated bookkeeper to process accounts payable/receivable, payroll, bank/credit card reconciliations and general financial processes.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Processing of accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing, payment processingConduct regular book keeping tasks such as database data entry, bank reconciliation for multiple accounts and credit cards and financial reporting.Assist with the preparation of financial statements and tax documentsProvide administrative support as neededFortnightly payroll for 10-15 staff.Assistance with inventory management and stock controlMonthly BAS ProcessingLiase with accountant on financial matters as required Selection Criteria:
Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracyExcellent organisational and time management skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong communication and customer service skillsExperience in XERO software and DEAR inventory (not essential as training will be provided)Must have experience in processing Payroll and BookkeepingHigh level Excel skills to assist with processing, uploads of our database and reportingThe position is permanent part time, with a minimum of 24 hours a week over 4-5 days. We are negotiable for the right candidate. This position is available for immediate start.
