This is a Fixed Term Full Time appointment for 12 months with the possibility of extension and/or permanency.
Position Profile:
Perth Children's Hospital (PCH) are looking for a passionate and driven individual to join our Surgical team as a Perioperative Services Supervisor.
As a Perioperative Services Supervisor, you will oversee and manage Patient Care Assistants and the Environmental Service area within Perioperative Services. You will be responsible for facilitating staff training, recruitment, rostering and liaising with stakeholders.

The Operating Theatres Complex at Perth Children's Hospital provides a safe and technologically advanced environment for surgery. Here's what you can expect:
Multiple Theatres:
Our 12 operating theatres are equipped to handle both elective (planned) and emergency surgeries, as well as specialised procedures.
Seamless Care:
The Operating Theatre Complex and Post Anaesthesia Care Unit (PACU) are directly connected to other critical care units, including the Surgical Admissions Centre, Surgical Short Stay Unit, Paediatric Critical Care (PCC), and the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
About Perth Children's Hospital (PCH):
is Western Australia's specialist paediatric hospital and trauma centre, with 298 beds. Located at the Queen Elizabeth II Medical Centre, PCH offers primary care for severe medical cases and secondary services such as inpatient, outpatient, and day-stay care. Our purpose-built facility incorporates the latest evidence-based design principles to deliver optimal care to the community.

Please provide an example of where you successfully prepared and coordinated complex rosters for a significant number of staff members? How did you ensure efficient scheduling and allocation of resources? (Essential Criteria 5)
Could you provide an example where you have demonstrated strong interpersonal and negotiation skills whilst supervising and leading a diverse workforce within a large organisation? (Essential Criteria 1 and 2)
Can you discuss your proficiency with PC-based Microsoft applications such as Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint? Please provide examples of how you have utilised these applications in previous roles to enhance productivity and efficiency. (Essential Criteria 4)
Please also provide a current resume which summarises your experience and contains phone and email contact details of two (2) professional referees, with at least one being a recent supervisor/line manager.
