The health service specialises in Orthopaedics, Ophthalmology, General Surgery, Plastic and Cosmetic Surgeries, Oral & Maxillofacial, Urology, Gynaecology, ENT, and IVF treatments. They have 4 fully integrated Operating Theatres, PACU, and 37 overnight beds spread across two wards, including 4 close observation beds.
Key Responsibilities
Leading the Perioperative team to ensure the efficient operation of the hospital.Delivering exceptional clinical outcomes and driving continuous quality improvement initiatives.Managing labor and consumable costs effectively.Ensuring compliance with the Infection Prevention & Control Program and NSQHS Standards.Supporting the General Manager/Director of Nursing and Assistant Director of Nursing with human, physical, and financial resources, as well as quality activities.Facilitating educational opportunities for staff and ensuring completion of the same.Qualifications, Skills & Experience Current registration with AHPRA, with no restrictions.National Crime Check within the past 12 months, or willingness to obtain.Current Working with Children's Check, or willingness to obtain.Solid experience in a comparable role within a Theatre/Perioperative setting.Proficiency in Quality Improvement activities, Infection Control Management, and Accreditation processes.Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on fostering collaborative relationships.A true dedication to delivering high-quality patient care and ensuring positive patient outcomes.How to Apply: Please click 'Apply Now'.
