As a Business Development Executive, you will be on the front lines of our growth strategy, focusing on generating new business opportunities.
This involves cold calling, emailing prospects, building relationships, qualifying leads for ideal clients and setting up meetings for the sales team.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct outbound prospecting through cold calls and emails, and other digital channels to generate leads.
Build trust with potential clients, handle objections, and effectively communicate our value proposition.
Qualify leads by assessing their fit with our ideal client profile, budget, and needs.
Organise and participate in networking events, conferences, and partner events to expand business opportunities.
Collaborate with the sales team to set up qualified meetings and hand over leads for further engagement.
Assist with digital marketing efforts to drive new lead generation and awareness.
Maintain detailed records of outreach efforts and track progress toward lead generation goals.
Requirements: 1+ years of experience in a Sales Development Rep (SDR) or Business Development Rep (BDR) role, ideally within B2B phone and email-based sales preferred.
Cold calling and cold emailing experience is a strong bonus.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to quickly build rapport with prospects.
Tenacious follow-up skills and a results-driven mindset.
Experience in handling objections and overcoming challenges in conversations.
Previous experience in sales is highly desirable, especially within IT professional services or similar industries.
