Location: ACT + Working From Home Options Available Security Clearance: Minimum Negative Vetting 1 Length of role: 24 Months + 3 x 12 Months Role Overview: We're seeking skilled Performance Testers to join our team for a Federal Government Client. You'll be responsible for conducting load and capacity testing across various systems to ensure readiness and effectiveness. The testing involves interactions with mainframe, midrange, Windows, cloud-based, on-premises, and web-based systems using both API-based and user interface-based interactions. You'll collaborate with technical and business Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), stakeholders, and third parties. Testing Services Performance, Stress and Volume Test planning and execution Stress and Volume Test execution Develop and present Test Summary Reports Support Performance Tuning activities Support development of in-house testing capability Support remediation activities requiring test Performance validation of new systems and/or major changes to systems Contribute to system design to proactively optimize system performance. Job Responsibilities: Collaborate with the performance test manager to develop custom scripts tailored to integrate with various systems. Execute load testing Monitor system performance metrics during load tests and identify potential performance bottlenecks or areas for optimization. Work closely with the performance test manager to analyze test results and provide insights into system behavior under load. Generate test data sets suitable for targeted systems. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements. Participate in automating the generation of test data. To Be Successful: 5+ years within Performance testing. Experience in scripting to connect to thick client systems using API or UI based protocols. Ability to conduct load and capacity tests of both standalone and integrated systems. Ability to receive, track, log, and analyze emails. Demonstrated ability to analyze test results and produce reports.
