Management - Internal (Human Resources & Recruitment)
As part of our Human Resources group, the Performance & Reward Partner is pivotal in designing, implementing, and managing the Saab's reward and performance management programs. As the SME you will ensure that compensation, benefits, and performance evaluation systems are aligned with strategic goals and foster a high-performance culture. Reporting to the Head of People Experience, the role acts as a key advisor and partner, driving initiatives that enhance attraction, retention and employee engagement. This role will include leading strategies and projects, working closely with the broader P&C teams and business to co-develop plans and frameworks.
Further, the successful candidate will:
Support in the development of comprehensive remuneration, reward and recognition strategies that align with the Saab's objectives and competitive landscape. Conduct thorough market benchmarking and salary surveys to ensure that remuneration and reward packages are competitive, equitable, and aligned with industry standards. Design and lead the implementation of Saab's remuneration, reward and recognition frameworks, policies, processes and practices. Regularly review program structures and offerings to adapt to changing market conditions and maintain Saab as an attractive employer of choice for top talent across Australia. Manage the delivery of job evaluation processes and salary benchmarking processes within the broader framework and maintain the documentation and databases to ensure accuracy and completeness. Provide support and specialist advice to the broader P&C team and managers to ensure positions are graded correctly and remuneration decisions are made in accordance with guidelines and relevant legislative requirements. About you Your skills and experience will include:
Demonstrated success and experience in developing and deploying successful org-wide strategic reward and performance programs, process improvements and practices, in a complex fast paced environment. Experience in conducting job evaluations and knowledge of contemporary market remuneration tools and methodologies. Demonstrated strong Excel skills including experience in producing reports, tables and graphs. Excellent data interpretation and analytical skills, including producing quality reports and insights to inform recommendations and decision-making. Be comfortable navigating ambiguity and working flexibly as you may also have the opportunity to support across other areas / projects within the business. Proactive and continuous improvement mindset and ability to problem solve and able to understand the bigger picture and implications of decisions across the wider organisation.
As Defence security clearance is required for this role, applicants will be required to hold an Australian Defence Security Clearance to baseline level or have the ability to gain one.
