About the Client:
Our client, a leading organization in the general insurance industry, is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support the migration of their Claims Centre platform to the cloud. This is a key role responsible for outlining and managing operational readiness activities essential for a successful transition.
Role Overview:
The Senior Business Analyst will work closely with internal teams to ensure the Claims Centre platform is fully prepared for operational readiness as part of the migration to the cloud. This includes defining and documenting operational requirements, support models, reporting frameworks, performance metrics, and release management. The role will ensure alignment between business needs and technical requirements and will be integral to the APRA approval process.
Key Responsibilities: Lead the operational readiness activities for the Claims Centre platform cloud migration, ensuring all documentation is complete. Work with stakeholders to define, document, and implement support models, reporting, performance, and release management processes. Align business requirements with technical capabilities to ensure the operational transition to the cloud is seamless. Contribute to cut-over readiness and other activities related to large-scale cloud implementations. Provide business analysis expertise to ensure the project meets business goals and is fully aligned with operational expectations. What the Client Is Seeking: Extensive experience as a Senior Business Analyst, with a focus on operational readiness in large-scale cloud migration projects. Previous experience working within the general insurance sector, particularly with Claims Centre platforms, is highly desirable. A solid understanding of the APRA approval process and the operational requirements for cloud migrations. Proven track record in defining and documenting support models, performance metrics, and reporting frameworks. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and business teams. Ability to document and translate complex business processes into clear, actionable deliverables. Additional Details: This is a part-time contract role, requiring a commitment of 50% capacity (2.5 days per week). The contract will run for an initial 4 months, with potential for extension depending on the project's needs. The ideal candidate will have experience within the insurance industry and a strong background in cloud-based platform transitions.
