HR Support:Support and coach Managers to resolve disputes/conflict in the workplace.Provide advice to managers and employees on Beam's policies, procedures, and HR best practices.Resolve employee disputes and other industrial relation matters.Support HR initiatives and projects, including training, health & safety, and diversity and inclusion.Act as the WHS Coordinator by managing RTW Plans and Workers Compensation reporting requirements.Work with Operations to set safety targets and lead the Monthly Compliance Meetings ensuring targets are met.Manage Mybuildings user groups and support Fleet Operations & Safety Lead on compliance and incidents as required.Serve as the main contact for HRIS and Labour Hire vendors (Sidekicker) to ensure seamless operations.Look at ways to improve efficiencies and develop new processes.Create, maintain and review our policies and procedures to ensure compliance.Compliance and Reporting:Maintain awareness of and ensure compliance with employment laws, awards, and payroll tax regulations.Assist in audits and compliance checks as required (e.g., Drivers Licence/ Visa).Adhere to internal processes and procedures.Collate reports as required including tender submissions and government reporting.Payroll Administration:Provide cover and manage the fortnightly payroll as required when team members are on leave.Manage employee timesheets, leave requests, and other payroll-related data, ensuring accurate recording in the HRIS.Minimum Requirements:2 - 3 years previous experience as a HR Advisor or similar.Bring an understanding of payroll requirements and the willingness to learn and develop this skill - we have support in place for such as Premium Payroll with Employment Hero and TAPS membership.Experience using Employment Hero, Google Suites, and Slack or similar.Excellent communication skills.Understand and accurately interpret the Fair Work Act and relevant legislation across Australia and New Zealand.Bring a customer service mindset and be able to think of creative ways to solve problems.You are detail-oriented with a strong sense of ownership.Are able to work autonomously.Benefits:Opportunity to make an impact on the world by transforming urban transportation.Be part of a hyper-growth organization with plenty of opportunities to springboard your career.Flexible and autonomous working environment with highly motivated and competent colleagues.The Beam Group of Companies is an equal employment opportunity (EEO) organization.
