We now have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic People Services Coordinator, to champion operational excellence, and play a key role in our transformation program.
Reporting directly to the Chief People Officer, as the People Services Coordinator, you will lead the organisational development practice including talent acquisition, workforce planning and design, diversity, equity, and inclusion, and learning and development.
Key responsibilities will include: Provide expert guidance, support, and training to enhance organisational capability and inclusive practices.Drive continuous improvement in e-learning, compliance training, recruitment, and talent management.Develop a leadership and technical capability framework.Collaborate to deliver reports on people metrics, diversity, gender equality, risks, and opportunities to Council and management.Conduct audits and benchmarking; provide recommendations to inform Council strategies.Lead Strategic Workforce Planning and contribute to People and Safety strategies.Build positive stakeholder relationships, gather feedback, and integrate it into policy and practices.Evaluate initiatives and leverage workforce data to support decision-making, presenting reports and recommendations to key stakeholders.Develop, maintain, and implement regular and specialised reporting processes.Ensure data accuracy and compliance with legislative and industrial requirements.To contribute to your success in this role you will have: Extensive experience in using data and analytics to develop workforce performance solutions and programs to support effective business.Demonstrated leadership skills to successfully lead a small team and collaborate across a broad and complex organisation.Expertise in organisational development, including learning and development, DEI, workforce planning, and talent acquisition.Experience coordinating organisation-wide processes such as performance management, compliance training, and workforce planning.Proficiency in HR and learning management systems.Proven experience in policy development, particularly with DEI implications.Knowledge of budgeting, accounting, and procurement practices.High attention to detail, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.A tertiary qualification in Human Resources management or related discipline, or alternatively extensive aligned experience in a similar complex environment, is necessary for this role.
