We are proudly Western Australian and are collaborative in our approach to discovering medical breakthroughs that have a global impact.To find out more about the Perkins, please visit https://www.perkins.org.au.Job DescriptionReporting to the People & Capability Manager, the People Partner is a true all-rounder who contributes to the successful achievement of our People Plan through the development, implementation, review, and continuous improvement of creative talent attraction, development, management, and retention strategies.As the first point of contact for HR, ER and talent acquisition, People Partners provide advice and support across the employment lifecycle and are responsible for a range of operational, tactical and improvement activities.These include:Providing professional, practical, and timely HR advice to employees, managers, and researchers.Developing and implementing creative talent attraction, development, and retention strategies.Partnering with managers to complete end-to-end recruitment processes, ensuring an exceptional experience for all candidates.Contributing to key HR projects and initiatives, including digital transformation, the implementation of an HRIS, and a new culture strategy.Collaborating on organisational change and development activities, ensuring alignment with Perkins' goals and strategies.Supporting ER, including managing performance, grievances, disciplinary processes.Ensuring compliant industrial relations practices.Building relationships with affiliate HR teams (including UWA) to collaborate on HR issues.This role would suit someone who genuinely wants to make a positive difference to the workplace and who thrives on solving complex HR challenges through collaboration and strategic innovation.
