Reporting to the People Partnering Service Lead, you will: Operate as a strategic HR partner to deliver technical and strategic advice across the employee lifecycle.Coach and support leaders to enhance their skills in people management and employee engagement.Collaborate with business leaders on workforce planning and development strategies to meet current and future needs.Manage HR-related casework, ensuring compliance with City policies and relevant legislation.Lead and contribute to key HR projects, aligning with business objectives and fostering a sustainable and high-performance culture.About You To succeed in this role, you will ideally have experience in an HR Advisor or Business Partner role.
A formal qualification in Human Resource Management or a related field is desirable but not essential.

You should possess:
The ability to coach, influence, and support managers on HR best practices.Knowledge of relevant employment-related legislation, policies, and workforce planning strategies.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to engage and build relationships at all levels.An adaptive mindset, the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, quick learning capabilities, and a strong team player attitude.If your experience and capabilities match these criteria, we welcome your application.

Eligibility To be eligible for this role, you must have:
A right to work in Australia.A satisfactory National Police Clearance (dated within 3 months).This is a pool recruitment process.
This pool will run for a period of 12 months.
