The role Reporting to the Head of People, this role provides support to key stakeholders within the Health & Hospital and Enabling business units to enable delivery of the business strategy through strategic people interventions. The role partners with both Senior leaders and frontline managers to provide advice and support on a range of generalist people matters (e.g. performance management, investigations, award and agreement interpretations, people policy matters, attraction and retention, engagement) and provides the interface into the business for delivery of strategic people programs.
This role will work across our different hospital sites on the North Shore of Sydney and our head office at St Leonards. We are open for the role to be full-time or 4 days per week (workload adjusted accordingly)as well as some flexibility for hybrid working. Responsibilities: Supporting the delivery of the People strategy and execute in partnership with the Head of People to allocated Business UnitsCoaching leaders to have courageous conversations and partnering on performance related matters including investigations, disciplinaries and terminationsIdentify opportunities and initiatives to improve culture, engagement, inclusion & belonging, processes and ways of working across the sitesProviding timely and professional advice and assistance to front line managers to understand and apply legislated terms and conditionsKeeping abreast of changes to employment law and industrial instruments applicable to business unitProviding effective communication and building strong working relationships with stakeholdersActively contributing to strategic people projects as requiredAbout You: Commitment to engage and align with HammondCare's Christian Mission, Motivation and Mission in ActionYou love getting out and about, you're a relationship builder, a problem solver, known as a true Business Partner and subject matter expert on people related mattersYou will have at least 5 years demonstrated experience in a HR generalist role, ideally in a multi-site environment with experience in managing ER related matters including exposure to management of Union RelationshipsPrevious experience supporting, developing, and coaching leaders and influencing a diverse range of stakeholdersAn ability to plan and prioritise work in a high volume fast-paced environmentAbility to work independently and as part of a teamDriver's licence and a willingness to travel to our sites as requiredExperience working in Health, aged care or disability sectors will be highly regardedA tertiary degree in HR or a related fieldBenefits We care about your wellbeing at HammondCare and as a result offer a wide range of health and lifestyle benefits including:
