The Opportunity The People Partner will work closely with the executive team and people leaders across VicGrid to provide quality consultancy services in accordance with policies, procedures, relevant legislation, and the VPS Enterprise Agreement. This role will support the Senior People Partner to provide a range of people services and culture-focused initiatives across the employment lifecycle while delivering timely people reporting. The People Partner will be proactive and solutions-focused in their approach, a self-starter with a strong ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced project environment.
What you will deliver Providing people partnership services and coaching across VicGrid, collaborating with people leaders and the Senior People Partner on initiatives across the employee lifecycle, including coordinating onboarding of new starters, probation, offboarding, workforce planning, and recruitment optimisation. Supporting with performance planning activities, early intervention and wellbeing initiatives, case management, and culture and change initiatives. Providing solution-focused technical advice to managers and employees on a range of people matters, identifying their needs, interpreting and applying the VPS Enterprise Agreement, relevant legislation, HR delegations, and policies. What you will bring A collaborative working style and well-established interpersonal skills. Demonstrated experience delivering a variety of people and culture services, advising people leaders on a range of people matters in a complex and fast-paced environment. Knowledge of and experience working with the Victorian Public Service Enterprise Agreement (2024), employment-related legislation, industrial agreements, and people policies. Strong written skills and excellent attention to detail, with experience preparing a range of written documentation including technical people briefs, letters, reports, plans, and policies using clear, concise, and grammatically correct language.
