In this permanent role, based in either Traralgon or Melbourne, you will play an important role in implementing our People Strategy, providing expert advice on all aspects of HR and fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture that supports the well-being and professional growth of our broader Project team.

Your role
People Strategy: Collaborate with leaders, peers and subject matter experts to create and execute strategies that align with Marinus Link's strategic objectives.
Employee Engagement: Lead initiatives to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction, promoting a positive workplace culture through effective communication, recognition programs and feedback mechanisms.
Talent Management: Develop and implement strategies to support the Talent Management lifecycle, including workforce planning, induction, performance management, learning and development, succession planning, and retention.
Compensation and Benefits: Manage and optimise compensation structures, benefits programs, and total rewards strategies by leveraging in-depth knowledge and ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
Employee Relations: Provide expert advice and support on employee relations matters, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies and practices while fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment.
Industrial Relations & Compliance: Advise on processes across all relevant employment laws and regulations matters. Provide guidance on HR policies and procedures to maintain a safe, respectful and compliant workplace.
You'll need
Experience: Proven experience in a similar People Partner or HR Business Partner role, with a strong focus on employee relations and delivering solutions aligned with HR and business strategy. Experience in the Infrastructure, Construction or Electricity industries would be highly advantageous.
Qualifications: Qualifications in a related field or equivalent verifiable experience with a track record of success in a similar role.
Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships, influence and effectively communicate to all levels of the business.
Problem-Solving & Decision-Making: Strong problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset. Proven ability to make data-driven decisions and provide practical, fit for purpose solutions to complex HR issues.
Stakeholder Management: Strong stakeholder management skills, including the ability to collaborate effectively with teams and leaders across multiple streams to achieve successful project outcomes.
Travel: This role will require regular travel between our Victoria offices in Melbourne and Traralgon.
