In this newly created role as a People Operations & Services Lead at JDE Peet's, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day HR operations.
You will be accountable for overseeing HR policy, processes, systems and projects to guarantee the effective delivery of our HR services to the business.
You will report to the HR Director and join a fun team consisting of two HRBPs, a Total Rewards Manager ANZ, a Payroll Specialist, an HR & Talent Acquisition Specialist and a Facilities Specialist.
You'll be based in our North Sydney office where we currently have a hybrid work policy (3 days WFO + 2 days WFH).
You'll also work from our roastery & office in Kingsgrove and our Campos office in Banksmeadow on a regular basis.
In this position, you will be responsible for the following activities:
Streamline and optimise HR processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy, including onboarding, benefits administration, engagement, employee data management and the creation and refresh of all HR templates Create an overview of our current policies and design a policy matrix to ensure all our HR policies are in line with employment laws, regulations and internal guidelines Oversee the local requirements of our systems and HRIS (SuccessFactors) and other HR-related software tools Develop, maintain and coordinate HR metrics and reporting systems to track key HR performance indicators, analyse trends and provide actionable insights Manage relationships with external vendors such as benefits providers, HR software vendors, and other service providers Support the HR team with topics such as Employee Relations, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, Learning & Development, Talent Management and Talent Acquisition Qualifications For this role as a People Operations Lead, we're looking for someone who has the following skills and experience.

You have previous experience in various areas of HR operations, including HR project management You have a strong understanding of HR principles, Australian employment laws and best practices You are an excellent organiser and have no issues keeping track of HR legislation and policies You're detail-oriented but can also use a helicopter view to maintain and provide an overview of the current HR processes and policies You enjoy taking the lead on People Operations You're system savvy and easily pick up new HRIS systems and HR tools (previous SuccessFactors experience is a bonus) You have analytical and problem-solving abilities with a proficiency in HR analytics You have valid long-term AU working rights Additional Information What's in it for you?
