Role: People Operations Specialist

Role mission: As the People Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting our employees in Australia and the People Operations team globally with the administration of all employee life cycle matters, including but not limited to new hires, probations, and leaver documentation. This is a fast-paced role where no day is the same.
Responsibilities: Oversee the end-to-end processes for the Australian team, including onboarding, performance management, and offboarding, collaborating closely with the Global Talent Team.Provide guidance and support to team leads and employees on People-related matters, including policies, procedures, and compliance with local labour laws and regulations.Maintain effective systems to manage employee data, payroll, and performance evaluations.Conduct regular employee feedback surveys to gauge job satisfaction and identify areas for improvement.Organize and manage local team meet-ups, events, and workshops in Australia.Support a fair and transparent performance management process, providing guidance to managers.Coordinate the procurement and distribution of necessary equipment.Working with Legal and Compliance Teams, ensure compliance with local labour laws and regulations in Australia, updating policies and procedures as needed.Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for all employees.What we're looking for: 3-5+ years of HR/People experience.Strong understanding of the Australian employment legislative environment and compliance.Demonstrable commitment to data integrity, proactive process improvement, and service delivery.Strong communication and relationship-building skills.People-oriented person.Organised and have excellent attention to detail.Can work on multiple concurrent activities and be able to prioritise these activities appropriately.Why Us?
