About The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated People Operations Coordinator to join our expanding People & Performance team. Our People team is committed to fostering a world-class work environment that empowers our employees to do their best work.
In this role, you will oversee the entire employee journey and identify operational efficiencies within our HR processes, ensuring a memorable, enjoyable, and impactful experience for all employees. You will be responsible for all HR systems, paperwork, documentation, reporting and play an active role in the in office employee experience, on the social committee, setting up weekly lunches and socials too. We are a small but passionate people team!

Key Responsibilities
As BRG scales, change continues to be part of our DNA. But we like to think that's all part of the fun. So this will give you the flavour of the type of things you'll be working on when you start, but this will likely evolve.
At the moment, this role is focused on:
Recruitment Support: Assist with the recruitment cycle including drafting job descriptions, job postings and sending out employment offers Onboarding Processes: Management of new starter onboarding including entering employees into HR systems, onboarding program coordination, issuing merchandise, working with IT on equipment set up and being the point of contact for all new starters joining Exit Processes: Management of exit processes including letters, system offboarding, exit surveys Employee Paperwork: Preparation of employee paperwork for all related processes including new starter contracts, exits, contractual changes, parental leave, probation letters, secondments, salary reviews and so on Employee Engagement: Set up and management of bi-annual employee engagement survey HR Operations: Maintain employee records, payroll tracker management, leave liability reporting and HR system management. You will also be the point of contact for any People process queries ensuring our team feels supported. Operational Efficiencies: Find ways to continuously improve People & Performance systems and processes with the employee experience always front of mind Data Management: Maintain and measure HR metrics and monthly reporting, using data to identify trends and support decision making. Administrative & General Support: Provide general support to the People team including responding to employee enquiries, visa and immigration support, support annual pay review process, ensure the People team is kept informed of any people issues which may require their involvement Internal & External Communications: Support with internal and external communications as required and drive our LinkedIn messaging and internal newsletter Work Health & Safety: Management of work health and safety procedures ensuring compliance with legislation, providing advice and support to employees on all WHS related issues Experience Required
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a People Operations or HR role, preferably within a technology, or digital culture Passionate about creating an exceptional and memorable employee experience Strong understanding of HR best practices and employment laws. Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills Strong organisational, time management skills and the ability to self-organise and manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively (own our outcomes is one of our values) You are systems and data savvy with proven experience working with HRIS and confidence when navigating people platforms (Employment Hero, CultureAMP, Enboarder experience advantageous) Process orientated with a high attention to detail especially when working on routine tasks and processes A proactive and adaptable mindset with a commitment to enhancing the employee experience. A great team player attitude with an eagerness to learn and constantly seek better A natural born problem solver with an ability to offer solutions to roadblocks you may encounter Excellent ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels across the business Why Join Us?
