People Experience Partner

As part of our People & Culture team, the People Experience Partner role is pivotal to maintaining strong attraction, retention and engagement and bringing Saab's culture and values to life through development and maintaining of fit-for-purpose people experience (PX) programs and solutions.
Reporting to the Head of People Experience, you will join the team in this newly created role during an exciting phase of growth. You will lead and deliver strategies and projects within the PX portfolio covering; culture & values, engagement & retention, attraction/EVP/employer brand, diversity & inclusion, and induction & onboarding, with an initial focus on 2-3 areas as the SME.
This will be achieved through strong partnering and engagement, understanding what our people value and Saab's strategic objectives, and to champion aligned people experience initiatives across the business.
Further, the successful candidate will:

Have strong and regular liaison across the business to gain insights and ideas, seek input and feedback, run focus groups, facilitate or partner with committees to ensure sustainable and inspiring people experience programs are recommended and developed.
Partner with the People Partnering team to involve them in development processes, then set them up for successful education and embedding of programs across the business through expert change, proactive communication and highly effective handover from 'project' to 'BAU'.
Partner closely with L&D and Safety & Wellbeing for 2-way influence, input and alignment across co-dependant programs. This role will also partner with Strategy, Transformation and Communications team members for support, input and to ensure alignment of programs across the broader business context.
Maintain awareness and insights of the external business environment to ensure Saab maintains competitive positioning to attract and retain top talent.
Develop, maintain and analyse reports, databases and spreadsheets to enable timely, accurate information, and advice on the performance of people experience initiatives.

Flexible work arrangements such as hybrid work from home / office, 9 day fortnight will be considered for this role.
About you
Your skills and experience will include:

Strong knowledge and understanding across many aspects of People Experience and the importance of aligning leadership capability, culture and business practices to corporate strategy/objectives.
Demonstrated success in a People Experience-aligned role, including embedding org-wide changes and user-friendly, engaging communications, preferably within a fast-paced and high-growth environment.
Proven track record of developing and deploying successful org-wide strategic programs, process improvements and practices across the people experience focus areas.
Stakeholder engagement, partnering and relationship management eg within P&C teams, leaders at all levels, our workforce and external partners.
Excellent data interpretation and analytical skills, including producing quality reports and insights to inform recommendations and decision-making.
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Change Management, Psychology, Organisational Change, Project Management, HR or any other related field or equivalent industry experience.
Evidence of ongoing development to remain up-to-date with current trends.

As Defence security clearance is required for this role, applicants will be required to hold an Australian Defence Security Clearance to baseline level or have the ability to gain one.
