About the Role: We are seeking an individual with experience in Human Resources to join our People, Engagement and Culture (PEC) team as a Business Partner  This pivotal role supports our business and volunteers and works closely with the wider PEC team.
The Business Partner will be required to work at various St Basil's sites depending on business needs.

Your Key Responsibilities Recruitment and Onboarding: Collaborating closely with key stakeholders to develop and maintain a database of volunteers ensuring accurate records of volunteer availability and attendance Sourcing volunteers, conducting interviews and managing their onboarding experience Inducting and facilitate orientation programs Supporting the team with managing the end-to-end recruitment and selection process Volunteers Leadership: Acting as the key point of contact for volunteers, providing ongoing support and guidance throughout their engagement Monitor and ensure mandatory L&D training is completed by our volunteers and staff Supporting and organising recognition events Supporting our Business: Build an open and effective two-way communication with managers, staff and volunteers in order to effectively respond to HR matters  Provide HR advice and information to all levels of the organisation on employment related matters, processes and procedures Attend site staff meetings to provide PEC support as required Working closely with the internal marketing team to identify and promote volunteer opportunities Stay current with industry trends and best practices by participating in relevant training Support sites with culture events  Compliance and Reporting: Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations pertaining to volunteer engagement and management.
Maintain accurate records, performing integrity checks, and promptly addressing compliance queries Accurate and timely collation of data for metrics for monthly board reporting Monitor and ensure mandatory L&D training is completed Other responsibilities include: Supporting the PEC team as required including leave coverage  Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of PEC projects and programs such as engagement, tenure and diversity Contribute to the development and review of Policies and Procedures Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend changes to enhance PEC efficiencies Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Experience: Formal qualifications in HR with experience in a relevant HR function Strong well developed HR administration skills, including the ability to effectively manage timelines, and coordinate tasks Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities, with a strong attention to detail and accuracy Interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with volunteers and foster a supportive and inclusive volunteer community Proactive and professional work ethic with strong interpersonal skills and a customer-focused approach to be able to work with a broad range of people from varying backgrounds Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Current driver's license and own car transportation.
