As the People Director, you will assist the agencies in providing strategic and operational HR advice and support to all Sydney employees. Supported by the broader People Team, you will proactively work with your client groups to ensure the growth of people leaders, with a focus on performance, development and coaching. You will work with the broader People Team and market leads to ensure that the people strategy is converted into local market initiatives leveraged to attract and retain market leading talent.
You will be the go-to person for the leadership teams in the brand in all matters people related and as such, you'll be able to advise and support them through a variety of tasks making judgement calls where required to do so for the best outcome.
In this role you will: Support the Sydney offices of OMG's agencies, PHD, Hearts & Science and Foundation.Provide operational people advice, problem solving and support to those agencies and its employees including issues such as probation reviews, performance improvement plans, separations and benefits queries and general day to day & ad-hoc queriesSupport and management (as directed by the CPO) of the company's visa sponsorship process as it relates to Sydney based employeesProactively partner with your client groups to ensure the growth of people leaders, with a focus on performance, development and coachingWork with the CPO and market leads to ensure that the people strategy is converted into local market initiatives leveraged to attract and retain market leading talentChampion inclusivity for all whilst possessing a fun, personable and approachable mannerThrive on managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment, and on developing strong relationships with all staff across OMG, in particular within the Sydney agencies, PHD, Hearts & Science and FoundationWho are you? A strong HR Generalist with enough experience to lead and make judgement calls where requiredHave strong written and analytical skills including preparing reports and position papersPassion for building culture and creating initiatives that drive engagement and create connection and belongingGreat stakeholder management skills and the ability to build deep relationships with the key people across the agencies.Sound knowledge and understanding of employment legislation and conditions of employment, including modern awards, NES and the Fair Work ActHigh level communication skills and strong emotional intelligenceResilient, and solutions oriented; able to deliver impactful advice to leaders individually and in group settingsComfortable delivering workshops and engagement sessionsComfortable working autonomously but a strong team player, who collaborates and shares willingly and generouslyExperience in implementing and scaling analytics reporting is highly desirableThrive on managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment, and on developing strong relationships with all staff across the brands and wider OMGNext steps Sound exactly like the sort of role for you?
