About the role (12 Month Contract) The People Data and Analytics Lead is a strategic role responsible for actionable, high impact analytics and insights that enable a quality experience for our people, and continuously drive achievement of our People Plan and business goals.
This is a brand-new role in the People team - the successful applicant will have agency over the tools we use and how we will quantify and analyse the range of data applicable to getting the most out of the People team and its initiatives.
Collect, analyse and interpret large and multiple datasets related to the People team and the wider business to identify trends, patterns and insights Create standards, frameworks and visualisations that continuously measure our People Plan and EnergyAustralia's people experience, along with the impact on employees, leaders and business performance Partner with OD to analyse Engagement feedback and other sources to provide insights that drive meaningful action Work with the People & Talent Business Partners to understand insights, add value to specific business units and aid people strategy decision making Share data insights in P&C forums & help build capability and understanding of data across P&C - Help the P&C team to become data analytics savvy Define and implement the right digital architecture to enable people analytics Experience in SuccessFactors or PageUp would be a plus Be a success in this role: To be successful in this role you must have experience wrangling varied data sets, using visualization tools and don't necessarily need to come from an HR background – Customer & Insights, Economics or Finance professionals who think they are the right fit, should apply.

Experienced in predictive modelling, statistical analysis and advanced analytics techniques Relevant tertiary qualifications or analytics certifications - relevant work experience is also acceptable Proficient in data analysis and visualisation tools such as Tableau or Power BI Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to effectively engage, influence and challenge senior stakeholders, develop collaborative relationships and communicate to diverse audience.
