People & Culture Officer Kick off your career in HR Agribusiness – Cattle Breeding, Feedlots & Farming Operations 100% Australian & family owned & operated industry leader About the role:ACC's Agribusiness operations consists of 3 Feedlots, 9 cattle breeding & backgrounding properties and 2 farming operations across Queensland with approximately 200 full-time staff. This full-time role, based at our Roma office, reports to the Agribusiness People & Culture Manager and will enjoy working alongside our livestock, commercial, safety & compliance teams in Roma as well as support from Head Office teams in Cannon Hill, Brisbane. The position offers loads of variety in providing support and assistance to our Station, Feedlot & Farming managers and employees at all stages of the employment lifecycle, from recruitment to onboarding, training & development, employee engagement, industrial relations and offboarding. You'll be able to build strong and positive relationships with your approachable and down to earth manner along with demonstrating: Relevant tertiary/diploma qualification in HR (or equivalent demonstrated work experience in a similar HR capacity) Knowledge of recruitment and selection practices (including behavioural interviewing) Appreciation of HR compliance and employment obligations Awareness of relevant legislation and basic industrial relations frameworks (Modern Awards, National Employment Standards, Fair Work Act) Excellent administrative skills with high attention to detail.
